From July 11th to August 18th, twenty four students of SFS and SHC (School of History and Culture) were in New York for the 2017 Summer Camp as part of the exchange program between South China Normal University and Stony Brook University.

During the five weeks, the students took courses in international business and finance, leadership training, and/or American culture and society. They also attended special lectures  and workshops that covered a wide range of fields; including politics, economics, science, history, medicine, and culture. In addition, they visited Manhattan, Metropolitan Museum, Brookhaven National Laboratory and other places of interest to experience the charm of the cultural life in the United States.
